Christian Bale won't face charges

After all the reports that Bale had a bit of a run-in with his mum and sister the night before the Dark Knight's UK premiere, reports have emerged that the Batman star will not be facing any charges for the alleged assault.

The Crown Prosecution Service has stated that there is not enough evidence to afford a "realistic prospect of conviction" and has ordered the police not to take any further action.

    • i dont get why christian would do something like that to his mother and sister..does he have a destructive personality? is he violent in any way? because i cant see this smart man doing anything to hurt his career or family. i dont understand

    • Adding the "verbal" prefix to the assualt charge would have made this a non-story: by the sounds of it it was just an argument between family members, not too uncommon: maybe she didn't like the movie, although she'd be the only one...

    • I don't get why his mum and sister reported him to the police in the first place. Apparently, it was a VERBAL assault and if your son/brother is a Hollywood star about to premiere a huge movie, you would usually think twice before running to the police ...
