NPR today reported this incident and said they believe she was shot by an Ossetian militia man.
-
And where's Geraldo? And Cooper? And O'Reilly? At home drinking goji berry tea. Meanwhile this woman is busy being a solid gold bad ass...

Ooops, Russia, you are beginning to look like the worlds next biggest enemy...
We better get out of the oil trade FAST or we will be swallowed into the world conflict.

Has anyone seen this?
I'm not sure what to make of this, but if it's what it looks like, I think *other countries* are the least of our problems.
-
Much respect to all those reporters risking their lives to entertain us at home.
-
This is robbing Peter, To pay, Paul.
You can't take a pod that's already been on TV, and pass it off as your own -
I wish there would have been subtitles.....

Rev Al Sharpton needs to get over there and address the issue of reporters getting shot at.
-
I would have loved to see this guy's reaction. Oh wait..I just did.
-
Rarely do you see a journalist become part of the violence there reporting on...A sign of just how chaotic everything must truly be in Georgia

That's amazing, I've never seen a reporter shot before
-
"Tis but a flesh wound"
Hang on, I'm going to play conspiracy theory devil's advocate for a moment...
Anyone notice when the bandage slips off there is no visible wound?
Which angle did the shot come from? Where did the rest of the "volley" that can be heard land? Nowhere in sight?
I mean, how lucky is she to get grazed by a bullet right there in the middle of a broadcast while everyone else is fine? What are the odds of that?
It does make perfect propaganda though.
The other reporters getting shot at in the SUV in that other video...now that was believable...this one could just as easily be made up...and it seems a bit too convenient and staged in my humble opinion.
This is what's wrong with the world. No one knows what is really going on to do anything about it because we believe what our friends on TV show and tell us.
That said, all the reporters out there in harms way certainly do deserve respect for risking their lives.
This one incident raised some question marks with me though from the way the whole thing played out.
If you were a former actress turned reporter and your government asked you to stage something like that "for the good of the country", would you do it?
Our societies are all controlled by the media, which are controlled by the respective governments. Don't believe everything you see unless it makes complete sense in the grand scheme of things.

propaganda alright, I think the twelve year old in the link above, I'll reprint for the lazy bastards who won't scroll up, is much more credible than the Pentagram.
