As Street Art becomes popular with the public, it become less popular with the public services

As more and more artists join the street art seen, we start to see more and more pieces of fantastic street art. But not everyone how ever see this street art as fantasitic. When a street patrolling police officer was asked what he thought about street art, he replied "as a person or an officer?". When I replied "both", he replied "as a person, I like some of it. But as an officer its vandallism (laugh)". So are the police fighting a losing battle, do they believe in the battle they are fighting? Well from where I stand I would say yes to the first, no to the second.
