    • Ok after I have slept off that guys comment I can think right again and I'm sorry to anyone that I offended. I will now explain why I said he was arrogant.

The original comment drew parallels to Bolt and every American track and field athlete, first of all, dumb. Second, he said Bolt would never lose fans cause he wasn't an American, and we all know that every American feels they are entitled to everything in this world. So, I was tired of people hating on America just to hate on America so I pointed out he was arrogant, something that is true. I do not blame Bolt in anyway for being arrogant, just saying that his attitude is no better than the rest of the American athletes.

    • jamaica is on fire right now. he's such a great athlete. and to people saying he's arrogant, you have to understand jamaican/west indian culture. he's not putting on a show for you or to be boastful, it's simply how we celebrate. when he won, he was out there doing dances that only jamaicans/west indians would know. it's only in bigging up jamaica and jamaican people. whether it's football matches or dominoes it's just how culturally we tend to express how elated we are.

you shoulda seen how i acted when i won 3rd grade spelling bee.

    • Watch him before and after his races, listen to his interviews, and who said anything about him being black?

The reason I even mentioned it is because of the OP's accusation that American track and field athletes are entitled. Please.

When I seen him dancing in victory and his interviews, I never thought he was arrogant plus if you see him interacting with the other sprinters he is far from arrogant. The other guys especially the U.S. team love him and his playfulness. You sound very fumed for no reason.

ahahah you don't have to say anything about him being black but the fact that as a black athlete, he carries himself like ALL OTHER HIGH PROFILE ATHLETES COMPETING IN THE OLYMPICS.

you zero in on that and call it 'arrogant' for no reason at all! that speaks volumes about you!

    • I hope he's not pointing to god in the sky.

I find it a little stupid when athletes achieve and then look elsewhere, like, to the sky, to thank their imaginary coach.

or maybe i just dont understand christianity.

(disregard this entire comment if I was wrong about the pointing).

    • Jamaica will always continue to produce world class athletes who perform almost superhuman like feats on the world stage.
AND WILL ALWAYS MAKE MORE FANS RATHER THAN FOES
Primarily because unlike our track and field rivals the united states we do not suffer from a "sense of entitlement" but a "sense of appreciation" just to be at an olympic games is a completely different sense of pride and acheivment for a 22 year old from trelawny as opposed to a 22 yr old from texas and it is reflected in the unadulterated jubilation expressessed by Usain bolt after completing such a great tasks not just for personal gratification but for the people of Jamaica as a whole.

Wow sir, you don't know me. And what I said isn't even opinion. You should hear the guy, extremely cocky. And am I jealous? Sure, why the hell not, he is the fastest man in the world. But thanks for your assumption, and kindly fuck you.

By doing so, he's hiding his true speed. I think he's slowing down the entire race... Imagines if he just kept pace from the gun... new land-speed record!

I wonder what it sounds like when a human body goes supersonic...

    • Oh dear Mr Johnson, you have been made to eat your words.

Usain Bolt is surely one of the stars of the Olympics along with Michael Phelps and Chris Hoy. This is what the Olympics is all about, inspirational and exciting. I was amazed at him being so cool, playing up to the cameras and the crowd.

      Brilliant!
