Flashback 2001: John McCain said the anthrax may have come from Iraq, not Dr. Ivins

Senator McCain went on David Letterman and claimed that the anthrax may have been connected to Iraq right after the 2001 anthrax attacks, among other things. Although there was no evidence to support these claims from, McCain went a highly rated television program for a session in war monger propaganda.

Bruce Ivins, the microbiologist at the US Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) in Ft. Detrick, recently conveniently committed suicide, so the question begs, who told Senator McCain to attempt to connect the anthrax attacks to Iraq, and why?

Why was everyone, every republican, so eager to get into Iraq? I've been reading so many things about the before and after 9-11. I mean, the day of 911, Repubs were blaming Iraq....guess that oil was a big carrot...

All I know is that as long as Sadaam Husein was in poser, I would never put a single thing passed him. Sadaam Husein was evil.

All I know is that as long as George Bush is in power,
I would never put a single thing past him.
    George Bush is evil.
Do you see how stupid that sounds?

Emotional characterizations and accusations serve little purpose other than provoking a particular response from the listener. Present the facts on the issue side by side and you will begin to understand the truth. Otherwise, just make empty emotional claims and hope for the desired result..
On this particular issue we can see that McSame was following the white house lead in an effort to tie any and all nefarious activities to alqaida and Iraq. The neo-con agenda supports the perpetual war machine.
The neo-con agenda has been a great American disaster.

Here's an emotional characterization and accusation for you... John McCain is a senile old fool. In this case, though, it happens to be a fact. He's proved it himself hundreds of times, just lately...

I guess all that drinking and partying he did at the academy and in the military must have caused him to lose quite a few brain cells...the majority of them it would seem...he's become just another talking head...

They ALL said it was from iraq.

Leading me to beleive it was actually an inside job, and that his "suicide" was probably more "six guys holding him down on his bed and plugging his nose with an open bottle over his mouth."
