How sick! Such people should not be allowed to have children or go anywhere near children.

Child abuse causes life long trauma. I would not want CPS to ever return those children to this mom.

What is going through these people's sick minds that would justify what they are doing?

Justice will come when the parents of these kids get old and have to rely on them for care (...assuming they make it that far).
That will indeed be an interesting day.
-
The 34 year-old mother's boyfriend used the stun gun twice on a 9 year-old girl.
The 9 year-old and her 11 year-old sister were seen by a neighbor playing with the stun gun out on the street the next day.
Both the mother and the boyfriend have been booked on a variety of charges; the children had previously been threatened with the stun gun by their mother for "not doing their chores".

Now that's tough love... but ugh, on 9 and 11 year olds - who were then allowed to play with them. That's insane..
-
this is not so much interesting as it is sad. one good thing that can come of this is those kids have learned what adults can be like and to grow up commited to not repeat these horrible things that were done to them.

I've made the occasional joke that if shock collars are good enough for dogs then they are good enough for kids...
but a stun gun? really?
p.s. kidding about the shock collars.

whats sad is that the mother is obviously bigger and stronger then the child. she couldnt figure out another method of discipline?
-
Talk about 'extreme' measures! All my mom and dad had to do was give me "the look" - that alone, did it for me sometimes. I know, I was a rough customer growing up!

uh.....wow..."that was a mistake"...that father is smart.
-
are you kidding me? how do people come to the reasoning that it's ok to use a stun gun on a child? is it just pure stupidity or was it the lack of parenting when they were children?
whatever it may have been, it is never ok to hurt a child like that.-

wow...Their kids should be taken away that is too extreme of measures...If grown adults can't take the pain what makes them think that children can take that sort of pain...let alone the trauma that will soon follow

this kids are going to beat their parents once they grow up
-
If the child is completely out of hand, the parents should seek help. If not, and their discipline is a serious over reaction to a triviality. The child should be taken off them for ever, and their names put on a multistate register of child abuse. Further more, they should not be allowed to have responsibility in any way shape or form, of children, ever. A close watch on I. D. change should be maintained by the appropriate services.
