Report Says Fire, Not Explosion, Felled 7 W.T.C.

Fires in the 47-story office tower at the edge of the World Trade Center site undermined floor beams and critical structural columns, federal investigators concluded Thursday, as they attempted to curb still-rampant speculation that explosives or fuel fires were responsible for the building’s collapse of Sept. 11, 2001.

The long-delayed report by engineers here at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in suburban Washington is intended to solve one of still lingering central questions about the 2001 attacks: Why did 7 World Trade Center fall, if it was not hit by an airplane.

Well, of course, that's absolute nonsense. The NIST is lying - how could a fire snap all the supporting steel columns at the same time? Such fires aren't hot enough to weaken steel, let alone snap steel columns.

Vierotchka asks: how could a fire snap all the supporting steel columns at the same time?

Exactly. Simply consider that the building came down at nearly free-fall speeds. If you took an apple and dropped it from 47 stories up in the air, it would hit the ground less than half a second before the building itself came down. The apple is falling through empty space; the building, even if you buy the soft-iron theory, consisted of dozens of floors with intact, cool steel columns. The same holds for the twin towers which featured massive cores, elevator shafts, etc.,... yet they came down almost as quick as that unobstructed apple. There is only one way that could happen; if everything underneath was blown to shit in the seconds before hand. Thermite charges cut the beams and were ignited in all three buildings as soon as the planes hit the first tower, in order to sever the supports; once the structural stability was sufficiently compromised, the final charges were blown only seconds before the towers descended.

WTC7 held offices, records and computer databases for the CIA, DOD, SEC, IRS and Secret Service. It was 'pulled' at 5:21 on the afternoon of 9/11. Seeing as it was never hit by a plane and suffered only minimal damage, it seemed prudent to wait a few hours to make the fire story slightly more plausible to their non-discriminating audience.

Just blame it on the fire.

And note the molten steel that had flowed down from where the beam was cut - thermite, or thermate.

Not every aspect of the United States is a vast conspiracy - "The heat from these fires, the investigators said, caused the beams on the lower floors of the east side of the tower to expand, ultimately causing a girder on the 13th floor to disconnect from a critical interior column that supported the building’s long floor spans. Once the 13th floor gave way, a cascade of floor failures started down to the fifth floor, leading to the overall collapse of the tower."

In 1999, NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani constructed a $13 million emergency command retreat on the 23rd floor of World Trade Center Building 7—an armored, self-contained facility designed to provide a safe haven for leadership in the event of a natural disaster or terrorist attack. But several first responders interviewed after 9/11 claim that the Office of Emergency Management’s Emergency Operations Center (OEMEOC) was empty and “deactivated” as early as 9AM on the morning of September 11th, a time when just such an emergency was in full swing.

As early as 8:24 AM, Air Traffic Controllers had become aware that American Airlines Flight 11 was in trouble and had possibly been hijacked. Any doubts were soon dispelled when, at 8:46, the enormous passenger jet slammed into the upper floors of the North Tower, the 110 storey skyscraper that stood one block south of WTC 7. It seems reasonable to assume (and has been stated as fact) that, as the spectacle unfolded, throngs of government officials and high ranking rescue personnel were flocking to the OEM bunker in WTC 7 to man their stations.

Ya sure we believe everything must be nice to police yourself. Sorry to many things point us in the other direction just another government agency NOT doing its job.

On the morning of 911 Barry Jennings (pictured) was with Mr. Hess, one of Rudy Giuliani's highest ranking appointed officials, New York city's corporation counsel, (Hess is a Yale and Harvard graduate, a lawyer who has represented the United States in numerous major cases).

It was just after the first attack on the North tower, but before the second plane hit the South Tower, when Barry Jennings escorted Michael Hess to the World Trade Center Tower 7. Mr. Jennings recalls a large number of police officers in the lobby of WTC 7 when they arrived. The two men went up to the 23rd floor, but could not get in, so they went back to the lobby and the police took them up in the freight elevator for a second try. When they arrived on level 23, at the Office of Emergency Management they found it had been recently deserted, "coffee that was on the desk, smoke was still coming off the coffee, I saw half eaten sandwiches".

At that point he made some phone calls, and an un-named individual told them to "leave, and leave right away". Jennings and Hess then proceeded to the stairs, and made it to level 6, when there was an explosion, and the stairwell collapsed from under their feet, Mr. Jennings was actually hanging, and had to climb back up. They made it back up to level 8, where Barry Jennings had a view of the twin towers, both buildings were still standing. This is an important detail, as many debunkers have used Mr. Jennings statements out of context to claim the damage came to WTC 7 from the towers collapsing, not the case according, to Mr. Jennings.

The interview has been cut off where they say how they made it to the lobby, but when they did make it down, Mr. Jennings found it destroyed and littered with dead bodies. He said it looked like, "King Kong had came through it and stepped on it, so destroyed, I didn't know where I was. So destroyed that they had to take me out through a hole in the wall, that I believe the fire department made to get me out." Shortly after he made it out, he was seen on several news channels telling his story.

Mr. Jennings is still confused as to why Building 7 had to come down at all, and does not accept the official reason that the noises he heard were from a fuel oil tank, "I know what I heard, I heard explosions". Michael Hess has not made any public statements about that morning with Barry Jennings, perhaps we can call on wearechange.org to document Michael Hess's account of the events on 911.

Since September 12 2001, there has been growing controversy surrounding World Trade Center 7. In the past few months more people are questioning the governments explanation, and the Main Stream Media's failure to ask important questions. In February the BBC's live report from 911 saying that WTC 7 collapsed a half an hour before the collapse had occurred was completely ignored by the MSM.

Debunking NIST's conclusions about WTC 7 is as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.

I was on the phone with my father (FDNY) when that building went down... Neither of us believe that a fire caused that to happen.

As of 21 days after the attack, the fires were still burning and molten steel was still running. Molten steel was found puddled in the basements of all three WTC buildings.
