Nice. No, like, seriously epic. No joke. This clip filled a void in me.

Interesting concept being covered, good treatment. Could be half as long as it is and still convey the impact -- tighten up the cutting, trim some of the interviews (including the guy in the yellow t-shirt, although I like his haranguing the kid and his observation that the thing's in character with Coney Island), remove some of the redundant shots of the mechanical figures and people staring into the window. Also, the title font strikes me as a bit corny, but that's not a major quibble.

That's all essentially nuance though -- it's a good, strong piece and worthy of a vote up.

I read about this, but it's great to finally see the inside story on it. Also great that it's coming from John. Can't wait to see it on TV man.

Anybody else find it odd that one of the women questioned about the ride, did not consider herself a part of the general public?

I heard about this installation, thanks for making it available to see. the artwork is great init's provocation, and i dig the "man-on-the-street" interviews and reactions, it's covers a lot essential angles of the story. cool runnings

This is such an amazing piece of artwork. I hope this film gets chosen for TV!

Americans torturing people is one of the scariest things that was allowed to happen under the Bush administration.

I feel so lucky to have seen this video. Engaging the general public on issues of this sort is not easy. This is brilliant!

Nice work to the artist and the filmmakers.

This work is part of Creative Time's Democracy in America arts initiative – check out some of the other events they're putting on as part of their effort to encourage discussion of the issues in this historic election year.

This is absolute genius. And I totally agree with most of the people in the clip -- "frightening," "provocative," and "we're Americans; you can't torture people!!!"

From a production stand-point, I'd have loved to see a shot from inside the exhibit looking through the bars at people's initial reactions -- whether they be horrified, disgusted, etc. Also a higher resolution of the water-boarding pamphlet/manual would have been cool (just to see it in more detail).

    Overall... A+

It is a good way of putting the subject out there. Most people don't know or care all they are concerned is with the information given by the "terrorists". Put me under it and I will tell them anything and everything, whether true or not. This has to be the blackest mark on America's heart. Shame on anyone who supports this.
