Obama should not avoid defining human life

Image...
Recently on television, Rev. Rick Warren asked Senator Obama a series of questions in front of a live audience of evangelical Christians, and then separately asked Senator McCain the same questions. When Obama was asked early in the session about when human life begins, he dodged the question with a line about that matter being above his pay grade. He proceeded to address the abortion issue with an excellent point to the effect that “pro choice” and “pro life” can be compatible.

Why not, he avoids defining everything else.

I thought that was already defined at the 12th week of gestation?

It all depends on how much depth has developed, since before that it's no more than shrimp or a lizard.

I guess he was trying to be "diplomatic" about it since some don't agree and the extremists still contend that "every sperm is sacred"

argon , a shrimp or a lizard ? Six weeks of gestation this shrimp has a human heart beat , its alive

That's not the question since lizards have heartbeats and they are alive but they are not developed enough to be human right?

There is more to the definition than that

Consider whether it's when the first cell divides...

In defense of Obama, however, perhaps he saw the trap that was being set. There was some trickery going on behind the scenes with that whole staged affair. McCain, who was supposed to be in a sound proof room, while Obama was being questioned, was actually sitting in his limo listening to the whole show, therefore, he knew what the questions would be when he was asked. Why was this favoritism shown to McSame..? Could it be that the evangelicals wish for Grampy to ascend to the throne, so they can continue to manipulate American society in ways that only they can..?

Now where is the fairness in that..? Why not reverse the order of the candidates, allowing Obama to listen in, then see the tide turn tremendously in his favor...

Why is the audience made up of evangelicals anyway..? Shouldn't there be a cross section of all different Americans in the audience..? Why does this whole thing reek of more GOP manipulation..?

Didn't George Carlin ask something along the lines of, "if a fetus is a human life, why don't we have funerals for miscarriages?"

My definition of human life is an eighteen year old kid that is being sent off to war.

    Not answer is an answer.

    jjammer is correct here.

obama did not dodge any question. he believes that there is no point debating 'when life begins' because too many opinions and not enough proof.

the point is that he believes what has been set precedent for 35 years, since Roe vs. Wade, that a woman has a right to choose to have an abortion. regardless, but within reason, of 'when life begins.'

Why do we bicker over and over again about this issue? Why does abortion have to be a left or right decision? I think the answer is simple. It begins with the man and woman who decide to have sex. Most people are stupid and do stupid things "in the heat of the moment". The problem is that we as a society have become reliant that we can always fix our mistakes by simply reversing it or vice versa. Weve become dependent on "the easy way out" approach.

Personally, I side with nobody. I stand alone. I choose to be stubborn and hardheaded about everything. On abortion I think that if a man is going to engage in intercourse then he should have the integrity to know what the outcome could be. Same goes for the woman. However, most people are stupid. We don't think, we act.

Regardless, everyone gets pissed off about it. I'm sure I'll get someone fired up and they'll tappy tap tap on the keyboard and fire off a good ole fashioned one liner at me, but that comes with voicing your opinion. No matter what, your beliefs are always different than someone elses.

For me, speaking just for myself. I didn't realize the value of a baby or responsibility until I held my own for the first time. To me, if a woman has has 2 or more abortions then I will turn her down (dating) because that tells me that this person rather take the easy approach and "deal with it later". Not my type, basically if she were in a job interview and she told me she made a mistake but instead of owning it, she just swept it under the rug then I wouldn't hire her.

Same goes for crappy men who go to sperm banks just to make cash over and over again or the guys who screw around and brag about it. I dislike most men anyway, I just don't like my own kind.

My point is when are we every going to agree on this?

    The answer is simple.

    Never.

So shut up and lets focus on something more important. When is Kim Kardashian gonna do another sextape?
