I was just about to post that video about Nanosolar's cheap solar film... but then I saw it on Tree Hugger.
Nanosolar just sealed the deal on a $1/2 billion in strategic partnership funding.
Go solar go!

Thank you for posting this update! Jane Kaye, of the San Francisco Chronicle, after i had written to her many times of the some really good news re: sustainable building, said they are not in the business of reporting good news, so unfortunately, they couldn't do a report on global environmental solutions that work, they can only report the bad news, sensational news, and not very intelligent or uplifting news.... well, at least she took a few minutes to tell me why... this was not a little project by the way.
