Wow. That one won't need a bump up. Thank you Rocky Mountain News.

Police brutality needs to be brought into focus and dealt with. Far too often over zealous police officers behave aggressively and think they are above the law. I hope this woman is OK after her assult and abduction. A strong message needs to go to officers that this sort of behaviour will not be tollerated.

Jeez, looks like scenes of the chinese police "dealing" with Tibetan protesters. What's wrong with them?

Once again, as I have said on similar posts....
In Denver, You're Free.... Free to do what you're told!
Our Constitutional Rights are being bled from US as we speak...
Good luck fellow citizens!
Ride on!

"Back it up, bitch," the cop wailed as he shoved her. The protestor is a 24 yro CodePink-er Alicia Forrest. She was first accosted by the officer for taking pictures of the gentleman shown under arrest in the video. After the ordeal she was answering questions regarding the situation for reporters and was then yanked by the officer and put under arrest on charges of interference.
It is my understanding that Denver police have had something of a reputation going well into the time of Civil Rights and, seemingly, til present.
I agree with jujulian, something needs to be done. Police brutality happens far more often than is reported, and this is a very sad reality.
