Harry's a member of the Blues and Royals regiment who will resume training and 'normal regimental duties' at Windsor’s Combermere Barracks next week
Apparently his bosses will try to decide if, and how, he can return to Afghanistan to fight.
A Blues and Royals source said last night: “Harry has made no secret of the fact he wants to be there when the regiment returns to the front line next year. He said the experience of leading his men into battle is one he hopes he can repeat."
“And with one mission under his belt, he has the skills and experience which will make him an extremely valuable member of the battle group."
Think Harry will serve on the frontline again?

I hope he does and I think if he does, it might make people change their thoughts on how stereotypically snobby the British, but not if we send the third inline to the throne in to Iraq :D

Harry serving on the frontline puts too many lives at risk and costs far too much money. There are other things he could do to improve his public profile.

Aye send him in, expose him to depleted uranium and then maybe affected veterans will get noticed and some derserved justice.
They'll probably 'take him out' anyway to have another excuse to bomb the hell out of Afghanistan and incase he was James Hewitts son after all.

Prince Harry likes to kill people. There is absolutely no need for this occupation.
-
Pft. He can go off to war if he really wants to. I just don't want to spend my hard-earned taxes on his security. Can't we just get rid of the monarchy already? They're a useless bunch with more money than usefulness. Get rid of them. To Afghanistan if they so desire.

Duty, leadership, responsibility, loyalty to your regiment...aren't these what the aristocracy is suppose to exemplify?
I think the French refer to this as "Noblesse Oblige."
-
I think it says something about the British character when people with power abuse it to get *to* rather than *away from* the war. What an odd country! :p

Is this really a good image for the royals? Gun toting harry? If they want to modernise their image and get positive press there are a vast number of things he could be doing. Would his mother have approved?
