The olympics cast a spotlight on whichever country is its host. Countries get nervous, and their efforts to impress backfire. Both amusing and frustrating.

Its Sydney not Syndey..... and I doubt very much that the "Sydney" people were upset that Melbourne people helped out - that is such a pathetic statement. Australians are not that sad.
