Of course she did. What did you expect? She is performing for an audience of radical right winged christian activists.

What is important to remember is Palin is anti-feminist, anti-environment, anti-science, and pro-Christian government.

can't wait 'till someone actually gets to interview her and ask her some unscripted questions, if she's done studying that is. They've been tutoring her for days now. I listened to the speech and I still don't know who the hell she is.

Man I want whatever drugs they are passing out at the GOP convention since you know they all have to be on something.

Yes, that was a nasty speach.

Very nasty. She is textbook slimeball politics.

There will be no backing down, no way, no how.

Palin's speech was invariably plain and more of the same. She tries to talk the talk, but sorry ma'am, you're no Hillary Clinton. By the way, a standing ovation of 15,000 versus Obama's standing ovation of 80,000 is no comparison.

I am not that impressed. I feel like she is putting her family on stage, and only focusing on the claims the media has presented...what about the issues and why are people so easily manipulated.

A lot of what she is saying about Obama isn't true and is completely twisted. By the way, anybody else notice how her preggo daughter and the baby-daddy seemed so bored to be there?

Oh, and I love the diversity at the convention!

She's taken off the gloves and has started doing some serious jabbing. Mocking and everything. Like I've said, she's playing with the big boys now. I don't want to here any whining about how the media or the dems are offending her vagina because it, is, on!

She is just an idiot. She was not just aggressive. It was condescending, stupid, and just arrogant. Quite frankly, if she was so high and mighty, shouldn't she have a conversation on how a condom works with her daughter. It was not a positive speech at all.

just finished watching Palin's speech. Very well done. I do like how she promoted the president, and also made it clear what Obama wants to do as she referred to "the fine print". I also like how she shared a story about McCain in captivity, and plainly stated, a man who survived as a war prisoner should lead the country, meaning he will not give in to the current pressures that face us, as announced today regarding N. Korea. I am still undecided, as I am not privy to the full disclosure or agenda of each candidate but only the highlights. The fine print is indeed necessary have let alone understand it all. I do not see how people can truly vote when such details are hidden, and we only find out later what the plan was for each candidate elected. If all Americans researched and spent a good part of their days following what a candidate says, does, and finally is held accountable for, only then will we be able to pick, reject, or hold off for another year or two until the people can actually pick a President that is worthy. We leave it up to the electoral collage, and other entities to provide the wisdom for such decisions as I am not qualified to do such. Each candidate is a master of debate, or they would not be up on the stage these pass few weeks with both conventions.

I like how Palin related herself to a pitbull hockey mom, and did mention alternative energies, and does see to make sense - create new energies and improve others which hopefully will be taken off-line with newer renewable energy sources. I still say, 45 new solar towers and not 45 new nuclear plants. This is a key point myself, but more taxes? Liberals will increase taxes according to Palin.

Both candidates have good points, and bad, I can only pray the economy does not suffer more if we pick the wrong candidate as they appoint new members of government on the fly, dismiss others that may be doing the best job, who the heck knows, I have to get back to studying... Happy Voting... I hope you can live with your decision...

She is not small town America. I am from small town America and I do not relate. She has now made this a black and white race (or a poor and rich race). OBAMA and Biden in 08! Drop the HATE in 08.

December 21, 2012 is coming up mighty fast and if they win it'll mean the Apocalypse and she'll be in the drivers seat. I have hope though, as the good Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said: "The moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends towards justice" I hope that is true.
