When CSS weren't that famous they played the town where I live. It's about 25,000 people, so not known for getting great bands, but a guy with connections started running a music joint there. I was hit by Kate and Pete's limo once.
Even though I was a huge fan, none of my mates would go so i didnt bother seeing them.
I r such a tool at times. seeing bands in a proper venue close up and sweaty is so much better than festivals.
