The last time so many young players on the Cal football team were getting opportunities to play was probably in coach Jeff Tedford's second season (2003) where he rotated between Aaron Rodgers and Reggie Robertson at the quarterback spot. Even then, it's probable that the 2003 team was still a little older. Their quarterbacks were definitely not Sophomores....
