Check it, does Sean Combs aka P. Diddy just not give a damn or is your boy(as he points out) just that unaware of the big picture?
I was disappointed when I watched Diddy's youtube video begging the Saudis and other oil producing countries to produce more oil and drop prices so he can fly in his private plane back and forth from NY to LA in hopes of becoming an actor. He also keep pointing out that he was now flying on American Airlines in coach and could we believe it. I am so damn happy that I never purchased any of his releases that help encourage such selfish behavior. Even if he used the Green Cause as a marketing tool to promote his music and future acting career. Diddy's youtube video would have been a perfect platform to say that he supports the need for alternative fuel, to stop global warming or to buy cool eco-friendly products etc...
Just imagine the audience he would have reached. Our problem is way bigger than the price of oil.
Are Morgan Freeman, Lenny Kravitz, Don Cheadle and The Roots the only eco-friendly celebrities of color?
Our white brothers and sisters seemed to have it covered to name a few; Ed Begley, Jr., Nicole Kidman, George Clooney, Adrian Grenier, Cameron Diaz, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio,Daryl Hannah, Will Ferell, Julia Louis-Drefuss, Harrison Ford, Prince Charles, Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhaal, Charlize Theron,Susan Sarandon, Tom Hanks,Edward Norton, Josh Hartnett, Sienna Miller, Alanis Morrisette, Gwyneth Paltrow, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maroon 5, Ted Danson, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon and Pierce Brosnan to name a few.
Saving the environment is an everybody problem and we all need to get onboard to make it become second nature, fun, sexy and cool for all.
So to my people I ask would you please stand up!
