The Home Office has employed M&C Saatchi to mount a marketing blitz ahead of the National Identity Scheme’s launch in November.
ID cards will allow the Government to hold the personal details of 60million citizens - including fingerprints and iris patterns - on a central database.

Oh, I didn't realise it only cost £20b. That's alright then... for a card that has already been shown to be able to be cloned in around 30 mins...

£20 billion is only the first draft figure and we all know those are nonsense. No, likely the actual cost of this folly will dwarf it - probably nearer £50 billion if it gets implemented. £20 billion will only get it as far as the point the Govt. says, "Oh! These cards can be cloned. We didn't know. Better start again."

No way why do we need id cards are we in a state of emergency, hey i no lets trash the id card we can all be chipped and tracked by satellite so they no owere every move...

It is obviously such a great idea that "the people" must be sold on it...
So how long until they start "selling" designer I.D. carriers? Make it fashionable. Appeal to peoples vanity... Make it trendy..

They (the government) have the same plan for US here in the U.S.

If you haven't seen this BBC documentary beedee posted a while ago, please take the time - its an eye opener.... it explains very well how governments learned how to "control the masses" as they call it. we can also call it mass manipulation
