I was on the streets of Leicester (England) filming shots of traffic and shops for a documentary when these guys took an interest in what I was doing, we got talking and they agreed to talk to camera. They are open and engaging and also very honest about their lives being homeless,. they provide an interesting insight into the realities of surviving on the streets.

Wow!!! What a crazy snapshot of someones life. Could you ever imagine surviving on just alcohol and chips?

I think it bears noting that this guy appears far more tolerant and articulate than quite a few who post on Current. As such, he's the pefect argument in favour of massive social investment to provide a safety net to prevent people ending up in his situation.

Really interesting film. Are you based in Leicester? I am a filmmaker in Leicester too. Check out my profile. Also, check out my film 200 years of freedom? If you are in Leicester we should network. Nick

Amazing. It says so much more than over-detailed docs about these terrible situations.
