LOL. I don't think Obama was playing the race card by joking about taking on Palin in basketball... but he certainly is playing the race card with his entire campaign - he wants people to relate to the black guy who shoots hoops on the b ball court when he needs a break. What a joke.

AIR-BAMA for PRESIDENT

There are a few people here attempting to be funny, and it's really not. Get a reality check, if at all possible. Though, perhaps your so far deep in your delusions, defense mechanisms, and ignorance, that you fail to see how idiotic you sound when you try euphemisms and colloquialism like AIR-BAMA or B. Hussein (as Ann Coulter has been quoted as saying). It's scary that more often than not people like you who make these "innocent" jokes are really the most closeted-racists, at any degree, out there. And more often than not in denial. Complex people indeed (denial of being in denial), however simple to derail. Perhaps its a joke that I'm completely missing, but I'm coming from the context of knowing people, personally, who are obviously racist and would rather vote for a man who can snap any minute and lead American Troops to Death than elect an AFRICAN (NOT BLACK, dislike the word BLACK) American President who threatens the WHITE HETERO-MALE EGOTIST MONOLITH because of his belief of including everyone with a genuine interest in making America a better place to be in his plan for Washington; which is what Democracy eventually comes to denote. I don't know...I'm venting, yes, but with probably cause. :)
