I have a feeling that they are going to take it easy on her...George S. on "This Week" roundtable can't stop praises this woman as if she is sent from God himself. I like to see her go on some other shows as well. In John McCain's interview he said she would first appear on Cbs. I hope he gets this message?

    I'll guess we'll see?

" The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media." ~ William Colby, former CIA director

" The corporate grip on opinion in the United States is one of the wonders of the Western world. No First World country has ever managed to eliminate so entirely from its media all objectivity - much less dissent.": Gore Vidal

"I wouldn't call it fascism exactly, but a political system nominally controlled by an irresponsible, dumbed down electorate who are manipulated by dishonest, cynical, controlled mass media that dispense the propaganda of a corrupt political establishment can hardly be described as democracy either." -- Edward Zehr - (1936-2001) Columnist

"This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires and lights in a box. There is a great and perhaps decisive battle to be fought against ignorance, intolerance and indifference." -- Edward R. Murrow, 1958

Unlike the demons who stab people on this site....I'm just going to watch it and judge from there as I've done with most things in my life.

God, if anyone listened to the crazed people here everyone would be evil but those that are democrats. Whatever.

How friggin big of her. And Gibson is the one who gets

I have never been able to take Charlie seriously as a reporter. He should go back to the morning show where he can toss his softballs to the olympic gym team. He should not be doing serious news.

Wasn't if Charlie and George S. that moderated that ridiculous debate between Hillary and Barack during the primaries? Also, isn't ABC the "family channel" owned by Disney? Charles Gibson can go a long way to redeeming some of his journalistic credibility IF, if he takes this interview as seriously as it should be taken and not another one sided puff piece.

Clearly she's not ready or they wouldn't have kept her away from the press.

Palin isn't ready for the job of Vice seat warmer President, much less President when, if mcSame has any medical problems - which he is destined to have at this age.

Look how much EVERY President ages in office. If these are tough times as mcLame declares, how is he going to fair better than EVERY other former President? He's not, it'll be worse on him for his age and medical problems people really aren't talking about.

So, the Ripusoffican's are perfectly content to get mcSame palin' -in the sun- into office since it's clear palin will be a stooge to the money that buys her.

In my view, this interview and most of them are about; ratings, selling ads, and making money.

Corporate Interest are the ones who stand to gain; 'we the people' will get what those behind closed doors decide to spoon feed us.

Yea. please forgive us for being so wild. But I want you to know that this election has most of us feeling like we are FIGHTING FOR OUR LIVES. truly. This really is the type of thing to drive a person mad. But I assure you that for the most part we are good people
    . Palin interview
Chances are they will prep her before the interview so she can practice and rehearse before hand. I don't want to watch two friends talk.

She should go have an interview with Bill Mahr or something.....like Obama's interview with Bill O'rielly.
She needs to be interrogated as such^ and then rudely interrupted atleast 50 times during their talk.
Let's see how she handles that.

    Or a Biden debate

O thank God, we can finally what reactions she will have under-pressure by the press. Hopefully Charles Gibson will try to make the "real" Palin come out and what she really thinks about the election and her mate McCain.

"Charlie Gibson, who could focus on nothing but personal garbage (Rev. Wright, Ayers, flag pins, etc.) in his questioning of Obama during the April democratic debate, has decided to turn over a new leaf."

Chosen as the first (and so far only) interviewer of Sarah Palin by the McCain campaign, he now says that

"The major development in his campaign obviously is his surprise choice of Sarah Palin," Mr. Gibson wrote. "It took some time in thinking about it, but I finally decided not to even bring up the issues with her family, for they are issues of family and should remain so. Once you know about her daughter’s pregnancy, once you know about her husband’s political interest in the Alaskan Independence Party, once you know about special nature of their latest child, I think that’s enough.

"The relevant questions about Governor Palin, the questions that go to her suitability to serve as vice president, all relate to her experience, or lack thereof, and her policy positions as a mayor and governor in Alaska. Once I decided to restrict the Palin questions to those areas, the interview kind of formed itself," Mr. Gibson wrote.

The ABC network is owned by Disney-
ultra right wing as we all know...
    One interview...
    we all know the words-
    canned...
    scripted...
edited most likely to be approve by the RNC!

Pick her to be possible president and she cant even do a live interview! Why? Because she is empty!
No more interviews are planned! Biden has done dozens of intetrviews! Free press does not exist with these people!

I bet the speech writers and handlers are excited, they probably are getting paid over time, with a bonus if they can prep her for every question without putting her foot in her mouth or habitually lying.

I believe no one is going to ask Gov.Palin any tough questions. They won' ask her why she believe that God ordained the war in Iraq. Or why she believes God wants us to kill Muslums who refuse Christianity or Christ. Why God want Israel to be distoryed for killing Christ. These are her words, not mind. She is so far right, that she is about to fall over the edge. But The News isn't showing the video of her addressing a Graduating High Scool class. They couldn't wait to show a video of a Rev. that they used to try and make Sen.Obama responsable for..
They are all embracing this women and not telling The American people the truth.. WHY?
Why don't they point out the fact the McCain still wants to be a "Hot Doger" and he is still chasing the skirts, just like he did when he was married to his 1St wife... He is Not a Honorable Man. They (McCain/Palin) both claim to be up-standing, honest folks, but yet they don't mind lying if it gets them where they want to go. For Christians, they sure don't show a good example of followers of Christ Teachings..
Heaven help all of us if the truth remains hidden. Gov. Palin did tell the truth when she said and I quote" I am a Pitt Bull in Lip Stick", and this is who we want to represent us over seas?... You might, But I Sure Don't.. We are so much better then this... Wake Up America...

Betico, remember the revolution will be televised, so kill your radio.

Seriously, they aren't going to expose her if they feel it will be detrimental. Either the list of questions is already known, or she will invoke the Cheneyesque "I am not going to answer that, and frankly, you're out of line for asking."

I'm sorry, but if someone is planning to impose their far right social agenda, then her family values are fair game. Her husbands involvement with a movement that wants Alaskan secession, yeah that's worth asking too.

If it is a bunch of "how does it feel?" fluff, we may as well plan on The live version of Dr Strangelove, taking over a country near you.

I am happy to know I am not the only one out here who feels like the News is wanting TO GO Soft on McCain/Palin...WHY?
Do they really want to see our counrty go to hell in a hand basket? Or don't they care? Maybe it's because they are a part of the "Elite Group that is going to have to pay their fair share of Taxes once President Obama take over and more Demorcrats get voted into Office..
Palin is giving Pitt Bulls a "Bad Name" and McCain isn't a Hero... A Hero isn't dishonest, or a Liar..

Charlie Gipson should not be interviewing her, that will not be an interview, she will donminate the conversation. He will not ask tough questions, so I will not be watching this interview, if she is so tough and ready to be president why don't they let reportes on CNN interview her, like the one that kept asking what executive orders has she given, and the person from McCain corner, was getting madder by the minute because he couldn't answer.

I'm actually surprised Fox didn't get the interview. However, don't underestimate her, and don't underestimate the republicans skill at manipulating public opinion. In purely political terms they are brilliant when it comes to campaigns and strategy.
