MSNBC Drops Olbermann, Matthews as News Anchors

WOW.....The Obama network makes a change!!!

as if Fox News is Neutral!

It's about time. I don't mind them having their own views on their own shows, and I don't even think Matthews was all that bad, he can at least be objective. But Keith Olberman is a royal ass.

JohnA, you have the right not to watch Keith Olbermann. Keith Olbermann speaks for many Americans. Republicans stopped the count in 2000 and now are working to silence voices of decent in 2008.

Its time for Democrats to find their voices before it is too late. Congress didnt investigate and legislate because they thought they would get the White House. Their silence during these troubled times has enabled the Republican party and mainstream media to spin America down the wrong path. SAD! SAD! SAD!

MSNBC has 2 anchors, Obermann and Maddow, who are noticeably left biased.

FOX is a 24 hour network utterly dedicated to electing conservatives and advancing the conservative agenda.

It's great that people are questioning the media, and that the media is starting to make the necessary changes. Let's just hope that this is the first change of many.

That being said, it sucks because I love Chris Matthews.

Seriously though, I'm okay with it.
Sounds like Keith is, too. His bias was showing throughout the RNC coverage and the on-air friction between he and Matthews was annoying.
They still have their shows, for now, and that's cool.
One thing more. MSNBC? Next time around, don't place your staff outside. That was a really poor decision.
I'm looking forward to Rachel's debut tonight.

Although Olbermann and Matthews are bias, MSNBC needs to create a niche to keep up with Faux News and CNN. This won't be good for them in the long term.
