"The Republicans have double standards when it comes to them making analogies compared to Democrats. Obama is NOT a Sexist!"
It is crystal clear that Obama was NOT referring to Sarah Palin when he made that remark, but the Republicans are pouncing on it with great false indignation.

Wait, I thought it was lipstick on a hockey mom that then becomes a pit bull. Sorry, wrong politician.
Their adds today on TV are ridiculous. Inaccurate. Embarrassing. Private Ibber-

That saying is older than McCain and Cheney put together. Let them pounce.
It means nothing other than what it means.
You can dress up shit, but it's still just shit.
-
I agree. Obama was NOT talking about Palin. Republicans are excellent at slash and burn politics.
If Palin thinks the lipstick fits well who am I to tell her different?
Our country needs Obama as president and I will fight to help it be so.
Just today I have spoken with 15 people who supported Hillary and are now fully supporting Obama.
-
Ridiculous. They're just trying to deflect from the fact that they are exactly the same as Bush by harping on this one analogy. Pull out the inane, make it the news and let the truth fall by the way side.
-
Perhaps it reveals what the republicans think about Palin themselves.
They were a little too quick to jump on and act insulted to this one. A little too eager to cover their own feelings.

I can invision McCain with lipstick, your right he's still a
pig. An old pig at that!-

Miss Piggy might be offended by all of this talk about pigs and lipstick, she has a good quote that I have always liked:
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye.”

His VP choice was a decision McCain needed to make with the best interests of the nation in mind and he fucked it up. They had no foresight and now they're grasping at straws.

It's about time someone tells a pitbull with lipstick that a pig can look good by putting on lipgloss as well!

This one picture is nice - the one with McCains face on the pin up - but in Germaný it would be a reason to go to court.
However I like it.
But we are shure (in Germany) Obama is not a sexist; but Pailin is going in to these fights so she also get attacked as she is doing it with her enemy.
The question is how deep below the belt-line (a german expression)
After Ihave read the news in german, I know more abot, it is just to laugh about if you cannot cry what the republicans make out of a usual saying -
I think it would have been a wonderful comparison to Palin as well.
-
When will the Republicans stop pretending to champion women's rights? The facade is sickening. It's like watching an oil company tell you how much they invest in green technology.

Obama and his campaign use sexism. Denying the fact doesn't change it.
-
Is it a sexism to use a idiom, which is normally used - also from McCain against Hillary Clinton?
Poor USA. Wher to are you going.
You have the highest amount of rapings in the world, the highest % of prisoners in jail, the lowest grade of aducation. The highest number of illeagal weapons.
No idea about the world arund you - and this harmless idiom is sexism. -

Keith Olbermann has McCain on videotape making the "Lipstick on a pig" comment on four occasions prior to Obama's use of the term. One of them was in reference to Hillary's health care plan.
