Not surprising at all. Everything last minute, no foreign experience, little time in leadership- all for image. All image with little behind it. Yes, she is an intelligent and agressive woman, but not suited for vice president of the US. A dangerous, superficial extremist and sounds a bit like the usual war hawk. No wonder they are trying to limit her media exposure. Even McCain stopped the Straight Talk Express because he kept goofing up. Now let's get that helicopter and go shoot something. Real fair hunting. What a false claim that she stopped the bridge to nowhere. She was for it before she was against it. Sound familiar?

Who would survive the battle of the fittest in da jungle - Palin or Putin?

The interview was extremely awkward and embarrassing for Palin. Her answers were so rehearsed and whenever she parted from the script, it was just tragic. You could also tell that the interviewer was getting really irritated and frustrated with her ...

Wow, if McCain and Palin are voted into office, the whole world will be laughing at the US harder than I was at Sarah Palin during this interview.

I missed that dad gummed interview. Did Charlie Gibson have the character to go after her false statements about not taking the money for the Bridge to Nowhere and her statement that she told Congress, "thanks but no thanks"?

Did he ever ask her that question?

If anybody knows, please message me or send me a link. I've been viewing a link at ABC News but it appears to have gaps and the video clips are divided into only three or four questioning areas.

    Thanks in advance.

This is cold that they can trot out someone so blatantly unqualified...and then sort of smile and wink, saying she's a hockey mom. I look forward to putting her on FULL BLAST everyday until we snap out of her charm grip.

Y'all all said the same thing.

Either that's correct or y'all share a brain.

Wow! That's the first time I had heard her speak, what an idiot, she doesn't sound qualified to be a shift supervisor at Wal-mart let alone a cheeseburger induced heart attack away from the presidency.

    OMG.

This "God's Will" comment is hilarious . What she stated the reason she said it makes perfect sense. Then people come and use RELIGION FEAR to scare people away from her.

she says that God has a will and may they be doing things accordingly. Makes sense to me. I don't agree with her but it make sense.

oh and by the way...there's a Hurricane Ike that's going to slam into Texas. 200 miles of storm. Now where's that article on this front page among the political hate and pandering and fear creators?

    Where's the caring?

I don't want to see any of you posting in an article after the Hurricane hits to gain profit from the devastation that is predicted to happen. Because so far no one cares enough to talk about it before it hits. Care only afterwords so one can complain about the governments flubs. But this time they've worked so hard to protect everyone.

I'm disappointed in everyone who makes it appoint to point out their caring. Where is that caring now?

Hypocrisy is on display. Thanks for pointing back to Texas.
I saw the interview... she answered clearly and remember it was edited by ABC.. She did not studder or uh through it... she passed the first test..
IF she becomes president ever then she will be in the words of Garth in Waynes world

True, her explanation of her statement about God's will made perfect sense. But it didn't apply to what she said in her church speech. If she keeps running around and around that bush, we're never going to get any information.

I was waiting for Gibson to say, "You don't me well enough to keep calling me Charlie, Governor Rove...Palin! Sorry."

You can see Russia from Alaska and energy policy = foreign policy...ugh...UUUHHHHGHHHGHGHG!

What's funny is that the interviewer knows more about foreign policy than Palin does. I say he takes the VP slot.

Watched the interview, and I was speechless.

Wow. I can't even really believe what I just saw. Not only was she not able to answer a single question with 'yes' or 'no' (presumably because the answer is yes and she knows she can't say that without starting a shit storm), but she wasn't even able to do so with the usual charm and misdirection most politicians are so practiced at. It really did sound scripted. On top of that, I found her insistence to constantly call the interviewer by his first name to be rather condescending.

What scares me is that although she is dumb as shit, she can sure talk a good game.

Then again I guess thats typical of politicians.

I know it's not the most important thing, but I just can't stand the idea of having another person in the white house who says "nukuler".

I didn't think she did that bad. She clearly didn't know anything about the Bush Doctrine, but many people couldn't formulate what that is in a sentence because they don't really know either. She stayed on message and played the questions like a typical politician. She is just like Bush in the 2000 election - Answer the question you wished you were asked and talk tough on foreign policy even if you don't know jack. Bush knew probably less than her and still became president.

All dems can pray for is the that the white women voting block will come through to their senses and realize that she doesn't represent what many of them hold as their values.

I would have thought that she would have a team of advisers to cram these things in before interviews??? Shouldn't she have had to pass some republican test?? come on!
