Sarah Palin wouldn't "blink" against Russia, Iran, Pakistan, "the terrorists"...

In her long-awaited first prime-time interview - to ABC News' Charles Gibson - since appointed as running mate to Senator John McCain in the Republican presidential ticket, Alaska governor Sarah Palin was able to display her foreign policy knowledge - which does not include understanding the meaning of the Bush doctrine of preemptive war. Adding to the chorus of Americans who suspect Palin is not prepared to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency in case McCain wins the election, the neoconservatives who gave her a crash course in international relations before she sat for the interview did not fail to commit a series of blunders.

Pepe Escobar, born in Brazil is the roving correspondent for Asia Times and an analyst for The Real News Network. Escobar's assessment of Governor Palin as a wholly inexperienced and potentially harmful US leader is the best I've heard so far.

I agree to a point, but as we all know but some will not admit because of their political bias, Democrats will not hesitate to go into Pakistan either as Obama has already stated, as he already stated we will continue this war in Afghanistan as well, and as Biden eluded to regarding Russia in his acceptance speech at the DNC. Both sides in this are doing nothing but trying to appease the warmongers and their corporate buyers. And while I do agree that Palin seems to be pushing this a bit too hard to appeal to the conservative base, I also find some Democrats' utter obsession with her over discussing their candidates to be a sign that they see it all the same, but simply find her the easier target... and it also gets you on tv faster here of late. I find it disingenous of people to think it wrong of one side to talk of war and the other side right to do so just because of the letter after their names.

She just proved that she's a lightweight, other than memorizing republican talking points. She proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is totally unqualified to be veep.

Sarah Palin can't blink against any of these groups because of all the make up she wears to hold her face in a Republican issued smile. A bad hair day is probably the extent of her experience at fighting a real war.

"Sarah Palin wouldn't blink!" Perhaps nothing could better demonstrate to the world how effeminate and absurd we've become. A woman will lead us into combat!

Try to imagine - even in that Hollywood-created, made for television drama reality wherein all but a few of us now live - what would have happened, were the troops who invaded Normandy, Iwo Jima, or scores more, had they been told in advance that they would be led by a woman.

In a couple of years, we may very well awake to find that we are led against an enemy intent upon our torture and murder by a woman.

My god! - in all of my worst nightmares, in all of my planning for the absolute worst, I never once considered anything as absurdly nonsensical as this.

But here we are. We have reached the ultimate in chaotic bewilderment. In our effeminized system, mediocrity is excellence. Incompetence is the way to tenure - because everyone showing competence and ability is looked at askance and with envy - i.e., someone superior in the competition for higher position.

Owing to this feminist liberal dynamic, excellence becomes a liability, bumbling incompetence an asset; and 9-11, FEMA at New Orleans, and a score more of the like are explained.

A nation, a society, a company, a team = a household - that considers Sarah Palin (is that correct?) a candidate for the presidency - need i remind you that that's the reality of Vice-Presidency? - shouts to the world its decadence, its insanity.

That a large proportion of us demands the same shouts even louder. Who would have thought that the end of a great nation could be so Biblical?
