After Matt Damon and Pamela Anderson, Lindsay Lohan has come out swinging against Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. And the Mean Girls star has taken it to the social networking site MySpace.

"I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin," the New York Daily News quoted her, as stating on her MySpace Music page. "I couldn't be more supportive of a woman in office, but let's face it, it comes down to the person, and their beliefs, male or female," she added.

Lohan also believes that Palin is not ready for job. "I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only four years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be," she said.

The 22-year-old also referred to Alaska governor's views on homosexuality. "Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?" she stated. "Is our country so divided that the Republicans' best hope is a narrow-minded, media-obsessed homophobe?" she added.

Lohan also attacked the mother of five for recently appearing on the covers of several magazines. "Oh, and... Hint Hint Pali Pal - Don't pose for anymore tabloid covers, you're not a celebrity, you're running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!" she added. And, finally, Lohan wrapped things up with a quote from a fellow actress: "In the words of Pamela Anderson, ''She can suck it.''

Sounds to me Lohan is scared that Sarah Palin is becoming a celebrity and getting more coverage in the media. Someone has green eyes.....

Sounds like Lohan and other Celebs are smartening up and sounding off. This is what is needed, democracy is a participation sport, sound off when you can.

Perhaps I'd take Palin more seriously if she'd stop wearing those horrid pin-ups. Step into the 21st century, and upgrade your views and policies while you're at it.

    Oh, wait, nevermind.

Sin has nothing to do with policy.

Is it a sin to be gay? Maybe, depending on what comic book religion you follow.

Should it be a CRIME is what she should be asking, and no, it should not. Society can only benefit from more people being in love.

Whilst I don't have an issue with celebrities endorsing (or not) candidates I worry that they may actually influence some people.

I can only hope the majority of Americans make their decisions based on more than the thoughts of Pamela Anderson, Lindsay Lohan et al.

The Lohan hatred is a bizarre thing.

I'm not sure how it has become cool in america to hate your stars. What's the point?

Because she's rich? Famous? Talentless? All of the above?

Who cares. She's a movie star. Stop demanding that she be more and then ridiculing her when she tries.

She has a frightening amount of influence over today's young people and she has the ability to garner a stink load of media attention for doing very little.

Count yourself lucky that she has come out (no pun) with something to say that your pathetic journalists have not.

If you really want to ridicule and hate some one aim it at your news media. They are the ones that have let you down.

Lohan's job is to be pretty. She's doing that just fine, I'd say.

It sounds to me like Lohan is speaking what millions of us woman find to be true. Its too bad that our tainted news press continue to paint a picture of what "they want us to see."

Although Lohan's a celebrity, she has an opinion that everyone should value. She may be degrading Palin, but Palin is in Lohan's realm of celebrity tabloid magazines and I think she has the right to speak on someone if they're appearing in her profession which Palin is not.

Oh, ok, so now she's an authority on what's unconstitutional towards gays. She's an idiot.

I'm not a Lohan fan, but she's got some pretty decent points.

So stop bashing her...she's got more influence on people then you could ever have.

Washington IS Hollywood. Just a little older and dress differently. But basically it is the same thing.

So grab a bag of popcorn and watch the show!

I honestly don't care what Lindsay Lohan has to say.

That being said, she actually did say some smart things.

CAT FIGHT!!!!!!! It actually shocked me that Lohan said some of those things. She might actually have a brain after all (or a part of one after all those hard drugs). Anyways, props to Lohan for intelligently speaking her mind.

The one time she says something meaningful and all anyone still wants to do is hate. Give credit where credit is do. Her voice is louder than mine and I am glad she said it. Thanks Li-Lo!

How very relevant, a bimbo actress, with an obviously low IQ, and no morals, is telling us how to vote. Actually, I wasn't going to vote for McCain, but if Palin's done something worthy of ticking off bimbo's in LA, she's on the right track. Luckily, she only has influence on 12 year olds.
