With the constant barrage of stories about violent crime and the perpetrators being volatile ready to snap young people, its easy to become a little paranoid, not wanting to venture too far into the world outside. But what about the positive stuff happening out there that no one writes about? This Pod discovers the stories that redress the balance to see how peace can come out of war on the streets of London.

    Great pod... its amazing that if you stop and LISTEN to people... what they really have to say can change your opinion about them. Its great to see that some people know what's going on and WANT change and won't sit idly by.

    excellent. it's amazing how worldwide (or at least occident-wide) street kids and young gangsters have so much in common. I recognize in both the young ones and the social workers characters I've encountered here in Montreal.

    I live out here in LA and I know a few people that sell drugs and that gang bang. I know some crips and i know some bloods and I've witnessed that times really have changed. Gang activity is still active for sure but its definitely not as ruthless as it once was. Life is a struggle.. sometimes people feel they have to do things to survive. Its the "survival mentality". But we need more people like Twighlight and Eugene to spread the word that there's no need for these types of activities.

    it's all about realizing people go through wayy different shit than we do. and if we really want to stop gangs and crime we need to end poverty, classism and work on the education system

    Great programme - god it makes you stop and think... and role models are so important. So many young people don't have them ...

    It is all about our youth, we need to be there for the young minds of the world. People need balance and family. Sadly most of the kids that join gangs are from broken homes, and these gangs are the families that these lost souls never had. It is nice to see someone trying to help the youth.
