Nice concept, beautifully executed (although that first slam-cut to the chainsaw did make me jump out of my seat). Worth a thumb's-up from me.

I'd appreciate your comments on my latest pod, TOWELHEAD UPROAR: ALAN BALL ON TITLE CONTROVERSY: http://current.com/items/89292414_towelhead_uproar_alan_ball_on_title_controvers... .

    Thanks!

Invites the imagination without words through seeing and listening to natural sounds, not the voice of storyteller's words. Lovely portrayal out of another facet of the heart! ..

My puppy was sleeping next to the computer until the chainsaw began. I think he jumped almost a foot. Beautiful idea.

Clever. I enjoyed this POD upload as an artistic expression of capturing the sound of wood. While this piece may not be entirely what Current is looking for in its form or fashion, I think that the quality of this POD and the artistic angles, images, and perceptions are exceptionally amazing. I appreciated some of the silence that brought up anticipation for the next frame. Well stated, executed, and delivered. Thanks for presenting an artistic expression that was visually stunning for the eye. (and ear).

Great idea. I also enjoyed the overall quality of the production. Especially with the film angles and shots with the woman playing in the church. Nice touch

So that's where they come from! Great film. Well made. Beautiful music. I like the way we're taken on a wordless narrative journey. It evokes the atmosphere and the environment along the way really well.

Thanks for all your support and comments. I am glad so many of you played the film and hope you enjoyed it.

Brilliant! Looks like something that should be on C4's 3 minute wonder. Was it? I've seen this before... Maybe on fourdocs?

Thanks. Do you have any influence?!

It would need cutting down to fit in 3MW but it has now been selected for the Slamdance Film Festival in January 2009.
