Hey whitenoise, add to your top censored stories of 2009 the one about the Chinese student decapitated in a cafe on the Virginia Tech campus.
Not a single item about this in the news since February 2009. The incident occurred in late January of 2009.
I 'heard' that a blog in Canada (put up by friends of the deceased) posted that the entire Chinese consulate visited the VT campus and let it be known that if they publicized, all of the Chinese students would be withdrawn from VT. Hmmmm. Go ahead, google the story and see how long it's been since there has been a word about it. It just disappeared.
Now it's one thing for the Chinese government to pull this censoring act in their own country, but to come over here and tell us what we can and cannot say...that smells like a lotta fish
