I just saw on the news, Blaine gets to take a standing up break occasionally, which made people mad. His reps said to 'just give him a break'.
He should live inside a block of ice again, in the middle of NYC. Hanging upside down, I dont really get it i guess. .

I'm one of the dorks who stopped to gawk. Visually, this is a pretty boring stunt. I imagine it's quite demanding physically, so I don't blame him for taking a break/getting checked out every hour/not wanting his organs to fail. However, this stunt was overhyped and deceptive in its marketing. It's like saying "I'm going to hold my breath for three days...[30 seconds at a time]."

this is a stunt Houdini did years ago. it's not about magic anymore, it's about spectacle, which is actually sort of more interesting.
