There is growing evidence that noise-related stress is a significant public health hazard. According to a report from the World Health Organisation, unwanted noise is causing hearing impairment including tinnitus, disturbing our sleep and triggering stress hormones which could in turn affect the immune system and metabolism.

    • The answer to your question is based on the idea that there is a need, a place, a time and a consequence for everything.

Since we are talking about noise that it is fundamentally a wasted and unwanted energy everything related to it has to be based on human emergencies.

    • When my students get loud at work, i get so overly irritated after having to put them in check that i seriously need to stop what i'm doing and calm down. i believe this article, but i'm unsure about what it would actually do to you physically.

    • No doubt there's a connection between environmental noise & the resulting stress weakening the immune system leading to living a less healthy & enjoyable life.
