Twenty-four year old Rachael Scdoris has more than 1,150 miles of grueling terrain ahead of her in the Alaskan Iditarod race, none of which she can see, as she is legally blind.

Being visually impaired is not blind.Just like the "blind" photographer is not blind.My vision is 20/2000,legally blind,and I drive a car every day.

I hope Current can add another screen at the end of the race in 2009 that says she wins it :-)
