In a study conducted by a UK painkiller company, they have found that dawdling shoppers, lost tourists and of course mothers with prams all make city commuting much worse, so much so that they estimate that half of the 2000 surveyed are slowed down on their way to work by 'dawdlers.'
That figure rockets to 77% for shoppers who admit that other 'human obstacles' slow them down when out for a spot of retail therapy, and 40% say the overcrowding is a persuasive factor in them shopping online.
As a result of the study, they are calling for 'Express Lanes' for hardcore shoppers.

Oh I suffer from this a lot. I cannot stand the stupid people who walk 3 or 4 people across on busy London streets.

But the thing that really makes my blood boil is the students who decide that standing at the top of the stairs to a tube station is the ideal meeting place for a tour group.......
