Rosh HaShanah is also a time for joyous celebration, for it also represents the day of the Coronation of God as Sovereign. We sound Shofars, a rams horn that is fashioned into a trumpet-like instrument and is symbolic for its origin of the word Rosh, meaning head, in the name Rosh HaShanah. Also, we eat great feasts for supper, including fish heads. As well, we eat a variation of the typical Jewish bread, Challah. A recipe is provided
