Kimbo Slice knocked out in 14 seconds

MMA doesn't really do much for me, but I'll watch it on occasion.

It was great to see Kimbo knocked out like that, he is so over hyped. Not that I'd want to tell him that directly to his face.

Momma said knock you out.

Seriously, where did this guy come from? Did he win because Kimbo didn't expect him? I'd be curious to find out...

I'd like to see a rematch. Looked like he got one lucky hit in that threw Kimbo for quite a loop, ha ha.

Thats what happens when you move straight in instead of laterally. It was a tiny punch to the temple that put him on all fours and then suddenly Slice was frozen.

Slice got knocked out fair and square. He emotionally let his guards down when Shamrock backed out at the last moment. There will be a quick rematch, no doubt about. The fight will break the bank. The knockdown out was a fluke.Kimbo Slice will prepare to fight next time, rather than just walk in and kick some ass real quick.

The results will be drastically different. Slice will whip this guys ass 9 out of 10 times.Last night was not one of those times.

Kimbo is not an MMA fighter. He's some guy who likes to brawl on the street. He's just a marketing scheme for CBS and Elite XC. The guy who beat him has more training, skill, and MMA fights and I am not surprised he lost.

Wow that was pretty sad. I love how Kimbo refused to bump fists with Petruzelli and then got knocked out.

Also someone should really teach kimbo how to throw a quick jab. The two punches he did throw were so telegraphed I could see them coming from a mile away. In fact the second punch he threw (the one right before he got his ass knocked out) was so slow Petruzelli
was able to throw a front kick and then a right jab before kimbo could even complete the punch!

It's easy to say Kimbo's a bad fighter, this and that but these guys train for one opponent and when you make a last minute switch, Kimbo doesn't have sufficient time to train for that guy and his fighting style. Shamrock is a grappler and Petruzelli is an MMA guy, two very different styles. Kimbo got beat down but it doesn't make him overrated.

Now, Tank Abbot from UFC 6, HE was overrated.

But anyone else see the video where kimbo knocks this guys eye out of its socket. this guys a monster.

I saw that fight last night. That really tripped me out.

any given fight you can get knocked on the chin or temple and stunned to the point where you wont recover. despite the loss you have to give kimbo some credit for getting into serious shape since joining the UFC. I dont think he's just another bob sapp.
