I'm joining your fan club Amanda... that was a great presentation.

Choice is not about conveinance, or promiscuity but about controlling your own destiny... nothing does more to affect a woman's life like having a child... with the personal stakes being so high... how could this be anything other than a personal decision.

I wonder what the "pro-life" people have to say about this. :P

republicans aren't pro-life, that's a term they've sold us so that when we disagree they can say we're anti-life or pro-abortion which we're not.

Sneaky how they do that but it seams natural, oh you're not pro-life you must be pro-abortion then ... oops.

We need to change this. I prefer to think of us as pro-freedom, or pro-choice. Then call them anti-choice or anti-freedom. Flip the script on them.

Anyway, I'm a guy and I can't imagine anyone telling me what to do with my body, I sure as hell am not going to order anyone else what to do with theirs.

How can someone think it's OK for the government to be involved in any of this is beyond me.

The question is not should she be denied the choice. Nobody thinks that! The question is when should the choice be made. How about before conseption?

I know! why don't we televise abortions as with any other medical procedure and let the public what actually happens to that fetus. We can also follow the mother of this aborded child through her life and see how much guilt she feels and how she tortures herself the rest of her life because of that mistake. The mistake is to let someone who has nothing to lose, talk her into snuffing out this life inside of her. The abortionist collects his/her fee and goes on with life and the mother lives with the psychological consequences of the morbid decision. I dare you, put it on TV if it is so beneign and if you truly believe it is the right thing to do.

Hate, I address your erroneous belief that abortion is used as "birth control" in the video. It's true that increased access to contraception would reduce the abortion rate. But guess who is opposed to increasing access? The very anti-choicers who oppose abortion. They want to shut down Planned Parenthood and shove abstinence-only in every school so people don't know how to prevent pregnancy effectively.

The notion that most women suffer after having an abortion is also a myth. It's not impossible to regret having an abortion, but most women feel relief, not regret. Which is normal. Because while you seem to believe they extract a big fetus, most abortions are so early on there's not much there to speak of.

If you're arguing about that, then you're also arguing for uncensored broadcast about surgeries, no matter how bloody and gross it may be to some people.

And the same applies to women who actually have had given birth. They should also show the side effects of an unplanned pregnancy carried out. A person who wants an abortion who has nothing to lose? I agree with the lady in the video. Stop casting stupidity and innocence on women whom you think do not understand or cannot comprehend what the fuck is going on. It's very insulting. And snuffing out the life? When is a fetus a human being? If you're going to give me the "potential to life" crap, then we might as we arrest men whom masturbate and women who have periods because they're wasting the egg and sperm which can also be a "potential to life".

Planned Parenthood IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION! And have you heard of postpartum depression before?

Your idea is using scare tactics and spreading fear into the person because of what you feel is "morally wrong". You completely leave out the logic and reasoning behind abortions.

Do you really believe this crap...you are spouting... most women have abortions because they are not prepared to have a child... I have never met a woman who didn't prefer that it never happened (conception) but I doubt that they regret the choice because they evaluated the situation they would be bringing the child into in the first place...

This is the kind of people that should have been aborted back when they were born. Little respect for life, especially that within their own body... how selfish can one get? Killing another person probably tops the cake! Maybe we can change the law to allow abortions up to 35!! then we can abort this kind of people! Now there is an idea!
What kind of person can kill an innocent child like this and actually feel OK with it? You might feel like you are getting away with it now, but wait until you meet YOUR maker.. see if you get aborted then.. (food for thought in that tiny little brain of yours..).

Please define child.... I don't know if you are talking about a a zygote, an embryo, a fetus, or a child... cause I for one love children.. so please be more specific...

oh and since you are talking about killing people "the kind of people that should have been aborted back when they were born" I take it you cannot be pro-life right... so what are you exactly... because I moral person like yourself is clearly not a hypocrit....and your not judging your fellow man... or spreading hate are you?
