I love ultimate frisbee! but hey, when you're a beach boy you love any kind of frisbee. *chuckles* Nice piece though, more proof that frisbee is, in fact, a valid sport.

Poignant, as all goodbyes should be, but there is something definitively uplifting in the reordering of priorities. Excellent pod,

I was at this event but not as a ultimate player.
While there were thousands of ultimate players, there were 100 freestylers at this event.
If ultimate is "frisbee football" then freestyle is "frisbee juggling" Tricks like the skaters do with a board, we do with the disc...check it: -
Wow - I'm so psyched to see an Ultimate pod on Current! I'm an ex-Ultimate player (played for 14 years before retiring for the same "family"/next stage reasons that the story about No-Tsu-Oh discusses.) Ultimate isn't just an an amazingly athletic sport, it's a lifestyle, which makes the sport even harder to leave when it's time to move on. I loved seeing footage from the renowned Paganello tourney and also loved seeing Ultimate's unique Spirit of the Game (SOTG) philosophy highlighted. Thanks - I'd love to see more pods about this!
