One of the customers of the coffeeshop I used to Barista at turned me on to this hip hop group. I'm a fan of underground (and underrated) musicians, and hip hop in particular. It's great to see guys like this getting recognition.

pretty cool stuff. dont stop spreading the ideals of giving back and spreading love, though it may seem appealing to trade it for money, status, and fame, I see it paying off more to keep doing what you guys are doing. Good Stuff. -PB

"f*ck class, get your education on the ave!"
love blue scholars! sabzi talks too much...where's geo at? guess 'cuz he's already the mc, the producer deserves some talk time.
this is exactly the kind of motivational, grassroots, community-based hip-hop that we need right now amidst a rancid mainstream music hip-hop industry.

Please can somebody tell me the name of the last song from Blue Scholars that they used in their pod???
I love it!!!!
-
It's not a particular song...I believe it's the beat from "Joe Metro" off Bayani

Dude, I work on the ave.

I got into blue sholars about two years ago and they definitly are one of my favorite acts...cant forget about Common Market, the Physics...The NW is really underrated.
-
I just discovered Blue Scholars about two weeks ago and their music is like ear orgasms in a digital format.
Check out Common Market, they are a duo also from Seattle with Sabazi as the DJ / producer so ya know it's gonna be tight!
Bless these guys, my love for hip hop is now revived.
-
Been following them for about 2 years and they have never failed to impress. I have seen them in San Francisco and the show was so amazing, so full of positive music and message. I can't help but feel like a better person after listening to them. Everyone should listen to these guys.
