Third Party or McCain/Obama? What to do.

So this has been bothering me for many many months and with the elections getting closer and closer, I am still a (mostly) undecided voter.

So I wanted to start a conversation.
And I couldn't find any good articles.
So I'm trying anyway.

Is anyone else having a serious moral dilemma about whether to go for a candidate you support more in a third party, over one of the two party candidates you support more?

What are you going to do?
How did you decide?
Does the idea of the two party candidate you like less winning, scare you?
Are you willing to take that chance to put your beliefs out there? To take a stand?

I'm oh so confused.
What do you think, Current?

    • I think everyone should vote for who they want. I refuse to vote for the lessor of two evils. I will be voting third party this year.

    • I will be voting third party for the first time this november. Until the election process is reformed to help include more candidates rather than dismiss them I cannot vote for another republican or democrat.

If a candidate wanted to change Washington, as "both" say they do, then why not allow more voices to be heard, why not speak with people who demonstrate against you to hear why they are so passionate about THEIR message. There was thousands of protesters outside both conventions, yet no one inside the venues seemed to ask why. Which makes me ask ... Why not?

I think its best to vote for a candidate that best represents your own personal views, even if they poll in single digits. I am not voting for a candidate because I know they'll win, I'm voting for someone I hope will win.

It may be a long long time before someone with the ideals of my candidate (Ron Paul) to sit in the oval office, but I see it as a fight I'm willing to accept. The only way to get to the end of a long hard road is to start walking.
