The X-Factor is has nothing to do with music.
If Jimi Hendrix were to go on the X-Factor today, he wouldn't of got through the first round, because he is a musician not a singer. Playing an instrument is the base layer of any musician and if the X-Factor promotes just singing "talents" they are denying so much talent they're chance to get showcased.
