    • I've had a lot of time to think about it, and Peter was definitely right about one thing. The name Filmore Mescalito Holmes sounds incredibly pretentious. As such, I have decided to use my real name from now on. Thank you for this small favor.

    • If Nickelback and The Darkness are bad ass, then that what the Kings Of Leon are, for sure. Scary.

      Personally, I think the American Armed Forces are bad ass and the Kings Of Leon are a bunch of millionaire wimps who can barely string together cliche innuendos over recycled riffs. Bad ass is in bad need of redefinition.

    • What a douche... I love the Kings but I have to admit they don't have the most complex lyrics out there. It's all about sex, booze, and the consequences of both. My favorite song "Soft" is a perfect example. Ever heard of "whiskey dick"?

      If FMH can't successfully navigate a Kings of Leon album maybe he should stick to pop music. It seems to be a bit more on his level.

    • I'm a huge dork for the Kings of Leon and even though this isn't my favorite of their albums, that critique of that critic was awesome. Stick it too 'em good! Very enjoyable, but then again as I've noted, totally biased opinion by me. lol

    • I can't believe you guys went to all that effort. That's awesome. Of course, it's outrageously biased and several of your points are mere semantic nitpicking, but this is still probably the coolest thing that's ever happened with one of my reviews. I've never had someone do a screenwipe with three of my pics before. I feel like I was on Entertainment Tonight or something. Thanks again, guys. I'm going to post this everywhere. A drunk pornstar's dog's name... that's gold. Feel free to rant on any of my future reviews.

      You know, what's interesting about all of this is that after watching that "critique", having never even heard of FHM or read any of his reviews, I've suddenly gained the respect for his musical taste that may have otherwise gone to bland entertainment news reviews like the one I just watched.

      It's unsettling to see the responses from so many people agreeing with this dude (whom I vote for having the most annoying voice ever), going on about how they love this type of 'good ole' rock n'roll'. Ok, it may be 'good ole rock n' roll' but that doesn't mean it it's not sleazy or that it doesn't suck.

      I was almost under the impression that America had become artistic and cultured, much like Canadians. That notion, however, has been successfully cleared from my head, thanks to this!
