Joe the fraud has just seen his short claim to fame blow up in his face. He is a plumber's apprentice not a plumber and he owes money in back taxes. He should have stayed out of the lime light insteard of giving interview.

This is getting some traction in the MSM.
I am going to bet Olbermann & Stewart rip this wide open.

Interesting. I was curious as to how involved he was in his trade. Does he not know that the United Association of Plumbers endorses Obama? If he is only an apprentice how is he going to run a plumbing business? It is really not that "blue collar" of a job - it does pay very well once you get past apprenticeship.
-
McCain should've thought about pushing 'The Plumber" arguments so hard last night. This might have the tendency to blow up in his face now.....like a full septic tank. Zing!
-
McCain should've tlaked direclty to his consistency. Hey Joe the Plumber I ain't gonna do shit to help you. I'm too busy helping my billionaire buddies. But your a white working class guy are you really gonna vote for the black?
-
I think John McCain should use Joe the Plumber for his campaign, seeing how he is so full of shit

In my Air Conditioning company, I am the only person required to have a state license. I do. However, I only need to register with a munincipality if I am doing a permitted level job. Most work requires no permit and needs no city authorization. Plumbers fall in this same category in my state.
It may be good to research what we are calling this fellow American.
-
What does it matter. Even if he was really in the position they said he was they simply used him to embody the stereotypical lower class struggle regardless of the truth.
-
I think you're all missing the point. It doesn't matter who asked Barack the question, whether it was Joe the plumber, or a 10 year old. The meat of the story is Barack's answer indicating that he wants to "spread the wealth", which is Socialism, which is dangerous.
-
"...which is Socialism, which is dangerous."
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank-you.
By far the most ridiculous thing I've read in a while.
-
For the love of God will someone please explain to the 17 people who still support McCain what socialism ACTUALLY is???
This is getting ridiculous.
-
Obama has it in the bag and yet it's necessary to still try to get him further in the bag?
ok.

here is a bit from an article from the daily kos
Joe the Plumber, the star of tonight's debate, may have a very interesting connection to John McCain. In fact, Joe the Plumber (Joe Wurzelbacher) of Cincinnati, Ohio may be related to one Robert Wurzelbacher of Cincinnati, Ohio, who happens to be Charles Keating's son-in-law.
Robert Wurzelbacher was implicated in the Keating 5 scandal, and sentenced to 40 months in prison in 1993.
Wurzelbacher is also a huge Republican donor.

Mc. is such a nervous , twitching little worm of a man . i think "joe" was invoked to introduce a kind of diverting image of a real person that would take one's mind off of how bitter , cruel , arthritic , petty , jealous and anal retentive Mc. looks , sounds and is .
-
This IS interesting. Americans are generally afraid of coded words. The establishment wants us to believe that being learned or eloquent is a negative. I say ignorance is negative. Socialism is just another one of those words reactionaries throw around when they want us to believe blindly what they say.Apparently Mcain did not bother to "vet" Joe the plumber. They thought they would scare us by saying that spreading the wealth is a bad thing. Socialized medicine would be great. I am not afraid of looking at those things that other countries do well. We could learn a lot from them.
-
It wouldn't surprise me if "Joe the Plumber" was hired by the McCain campaign.
-
hopefully "joe the plumber" is something we'll all be able to look back on and laugh about in a few years. like sarah palin.

today in mccains speach in pa he said joe can't buy the business now because of obama's tax increases. did no one else hear that obama's plan makes small business's excempt from penalties for not providing medical.and just because the business is worth $250,000 or more does not mean that the adjusted gross income from the business is over $250,000 which is what would be taxed and why shouldn't you pay more if you make more. why not share the wealth why is that a bad thing?
-
Of course "Joe the plumber" is not best explained by CHANCE- One might also see that the reason McCain wanted townhall meetings is connected to how easy it would be for a Rove level tactic to set such a crowd up to ask "sound bite" questions.
Obama is NOT stupid...
-
Joe the Plumber is reportedly getting a self-titled new series on NBC where he plays an average hardworking American. It's slotted right after My Name Is Earl in spring of 2009.

News Flash-
The Plumbers, Pipe Fitters Union of the United States has endorsed Barack Obama-
Stating that Obama has the guts, the intelligence, and the plan to take the nation forward and away from the conservative theology that has nearly destroyed our beloved nation!"Joe the plumber" may vote for Mccain- but this ringing endorsement signifies that the real “Joe the Plumbers” with licenses and all will vote for the better suited candidate to move us forward- Seanator Obama!
Heres yet another microcosm of McCains political culture...
Arizona-near last in the union for health care...
near dead last in education...
a right to work state-which means, you are underpaid
for your work and your skill while your health care is awful and expensive!Sound familar?
In twenty six years of service what does Mccain have to show?
No legislature for the science and or implementation of sustainable energy/solar despite AZ. being number one for the amount of sunshine available!
What’s Mccain biggest feat- he provided the Indian nations/reservations with gambling- whiskey too!Mccain-he never met a war he didn’t vote for!
Ugly- darn right its ugly!
No more Colloquial prop ups! The nation needs intelligent, wise, unassuming leaders. If eight years haven’t taught us this then we are doomed! -
all i can say is,
"say it ain't so, joe"
