Iconic images of band to appear on a special range of Zeon wristwatches.

One of the largest watch companies in the UK, Zeon has been licensed by Caroline Mickler Ltd, the firm in charge of implementing the Beatles brand licensing strategy on behalf of Apple Corps, to design Beatles-branded watches.

The range will feature designs based on famous logos and album covers from the career of the Fab Four. About 20 watches are being planned at prices ranging from £30 to £80.

The main market for the watches is expected to be the 30 to 60 year-old age group of both sexes which grew up during the group's heyday.

The range will roll out in the first quarter of 2009, with the main retail outlets expected to be major UK department stores, as well as mail order catalogues, online vendors and TV shopping channels.
