Zaza that's incredible. I would buy one but my laptop means to much to me. Will it convert to $ instead of E? I don't have a euro button on my keyboard. And carbon credits are better than cash in America.

whats the point of spending the money, if you really want to save the planet and your money. windows users will download keyboard launchpad and create a simple hotkey for that, linux users can setup a hotkey. mac users??

Cool idea, although I can imagine the little green flashing to be quite annoying. Anyone have one?

If you have Vista there is no point in this as the quick standby mode if fairly instant and puts the computer into ultra low power mode already.
If using XP it could be worth it if you don't want to tweak any settings. XP's default standby on most computers is set to a setting that only saves about 10 or 15% from when the computer is on and idle - pretty useless. This can however be changed using a small utility to a setting that will make your computer use only about 3% (saving 97%)
Instructions for how to do this can be found here:
    http://windowsitpro.com/article/articleid/93335/your-windows-xp-workstation-will...
You can then set a shortcut or your computer power button to put you computer into standby. So no need for a £15 flashing button.
