Graphic abortion pictures on trucks stir people to call cops

I suppose by this logic we can start printing pictures of charred dead bodies in public places with the caption "War".

These trucks made their appearance immediately after the Obama rally in my region.

The only thing it accomplished ...was disgust with the people trying to use this approach as a form of manipulating the vote and presenting something so controversial in such a one-dimensional manner.

Between these and the "FIVE" McCain/Palin supporters who were there to "protest".... it was quite pathetic. And only re-enforced the fact that we don't want republicans in office anymore.

And if a fertilized egg has rights....why doesn't my sperm?

I never understood, if the fetus should have rights upon conception, why it does not have the right to not have it's dead face plastered all over bill boards for political reasons...

I am prochoice, but I do understand where the anti-choice campaign is coming from, however illogical and unscientific. But, they really need to come up with better methods than dead bundles of cells... especially when the majority of them go home to dead flesh on their dinner plates every day.

Nonetheless, I am still anti-censorship for these people despite me disagreeing with their opinions and their methods.

I say there should be an opposite campaign. Show graphic photos of the dead mothers after they couldn't abort a deadly pregnancy. Or show a woman being brutally raped with an after picture of her holding a baby. Or an abused child in a rundown family that shouldn't be having children.

They want graphic? Let's give 'em graphic.

We should just put dead Iraqi civilians on the side with the words BUSH

Thats funny- when I was a young kid, my dad made me stand on the streets with him and other members of our church to protest..... something.
Anti- choice, pro- "life" and me, a nine or ten year old girl holding up a giant sign of a bloody gory fetus.

I've seen a truck in my home state with these images all over it on the highway and was equally disgusted. Unfortunately, these activists and many others believe that fear and desperation is the key to having knowledge about the subject of abortion and what it means to be "pro-choice." I'm glad to hear that for some it's not working and that they are thinking.

Not only is it inappropriate, it's not a good way to show people "the truth" by inciting fear.

I don't know if publicly displaying a picture of a DEAD BABY is the way to go, but it does show you liberals that you are murdering a child. If a woman is stupid enough to have sex without protection (and I'm not talking about rape here) she should have to have the baby. If she cannot afford to take care of it put it up for adoption and let one of the millions of couples who cannot conceive children have the chance to be parents. There are consequences to your actions, deal with it or be responsible. You ARE killing a defenseless person! Killing a person who never had a chance to say "I want this life" or not. It's like a woman with a 4 year old saying "I don't think I can be a mom" and killing her kid. Think about it, you morons!

Thats great....destroy the environment while plastering disturbing images into kids heads. Also there are plenty of children out there who need to be adopted. And a clump of cells is not the same as a four year old if your using that logic than people should be punished for having their period or masturbating that "could" have been a kid.

Does that mean I should rent a truck and put pictures of young children killing each other and women who are raped and slaughtered and write Darfur or Sudan...If you want to get your point across tell the right audience its the same thing the court had to deal with when pornography first began to be developed it is not in violation of your right to freedom of speech its harmful to the community (the CHILDREN) that is why there is an age limit on graphic material such as pornography and murder in movies.

In reference to the comment about "if a fertilized egg has rights than the sperm should have rights too". You should understand the concept of the "fertilized egg". Your sperm already had that right and it "fertilized" the egg. It could not have been fertilized without you. You made the choice to combine the egg and sperm. Why would your sperm need any more rights than that? If you had masterbated (like mentioned in some comments) there would be no egg involved to fertilize, but you still have the right to do so if you want too and any time you want too!

I just wanted to apologize to the readers of this story for getting carried away with my comments. I realized venting my frustration on here and angering people will not change anything. I think it is wrong that people would put images like this out for the public to see. Children should not be exposed to such violence.
