"We are in the process of investigating this," Sgt Brooke Murphy, a US military spokesman.
That makes the brings the number of countries that the US Military is engaging in hostilities with to four, and five if we are to count the proxy war that is currently going on with Iran. People like Bill Kristol have expressed concern that the US be more likely to bomb Iran if it looks like Obama is going to win.
With these kind of strikes going on inside sovereign nations and as increasing anti-Americanism binding together Arab nations, should we be concerned?

What is bush trying to do?
Start a third war before he heads off to the ranch. Syria is a sovereign state, you cannot just send troops in. There seems to be some talk of Syria sending insurgents into Iraq through this piece of border. Britain has provided many insurgent troops, will Bush be bombing Bridlington or Chipping Norton next?
You can bet your bottom dollar he won't, because if he did he would be declaring war on Britain.
The BBC claim 9 dead, apparently they killed children and the wife of a security guard and French and British news agencies have pictures which are emerging now.
If this was a 'Black OP' it was misguided, if it was a military strategy then it was illegal. Either way we can only hope the usually very calm Syrian government will restrain from making any immediate statements. However if Bush wanted more Syrians fighting in Iraq, this is a great way to recruit them!!!
Bravo Bush, you numpty...-
