Hooray! Atmosphere is a true sound of Minneapolis. I'm so happy they've continued to be successful over the years. God Loves Ugly and Lucy Ford got me through hours of waiting at snowy bus stops. Love the new album!

Atmosphere came with an amazing performance in Los Angeles at the Wiltern last month. They had been on the Paint the Nation Tour throughout the summer (I saw 2 previous shows) playing everywhere...and often. Yet, the energy was unreal and both Slug and Ant were the best I've seen 'um.

'More accessible'? Because you have grown musically they wanna say that, right? I've even heard people use the word 'mainstream' when describing the new album....whatever. I think as long as you are true to your vision whatever attempts at an insult people want to throw out there....well f*ck 'em. Personally I really dig the fact that I can listen to Atmosphere albums from 5 years ago and hear a different sound than what I've heard in the most recent LP and EP's. It shows your artistic abilities.You and the entire Rhymesayers family are talented, raw and need to be 100% unapologetic for your insightful, honest and beautiful music.

Can't put on a show? I saw him in 2005 In STL it was one of the best show's I've been to, it was like a great house party. It is wierd now that when I put him on my friends know the words to his songs. Screw the whole main stream thing, they have nothing to prove, I like the new album, God loves ugly and Lucy Ford are still my favorites though.
I feel like their lyrics are just on another level.
It is so funny because it relates to so many different people this time.
I like that they wrote from a different perspective on this album. I like it better than the last.
See, I found atmosphere in a past relationship, I kept them and lost the ass.

Its funny how it started with "LUCY FORD" moving on to "GOD LOVES UGLY" to now a gold album. Atmosphere is not a sell out group, but a awesome hip hop group moving in the write direction. Much respect, and I will be at the Vic in Chicago supporting "REAL" hip-hop!

His contemporaries are right, his music has undeniably become more mainstream over the years. Their latest album is pretty drab compared to most of the stuff emanating from the underground nowadays.

Atmosphere is incredible, best music ever.... all his albums are amazing. RSE is awesome. if you guys like slug and ant, check out Mac Lethal's new album called 11:11. he is also a rhymesayers artist. I just recently heard the cd and I really liked it.
I'm goin to check out atmosphere, abstract rude, and blueprint in Milwaukee tomorrow and Chicago in a few weeks.... cant wait!
