There is gonna be a ton of people in the US sorely disappointed after Obama is put in office and NOTHING changes. You're gonna by wondering "where is the change", what happened to "hope" when you find that he is a politician just like the rest of them. The president can't change much, he is not responsible for the gas prices, or the economic problems we are having now. (The economy is due to a bunch of greedy realtors jacking up home prices only to have it backfire) About the only thing the President can do is maintain a strong military or gut it, which is what Clinton did, the reason we have the National Guard fighting in Iraq. Obama will pull out of Iraq despite the great things done in that country. It will be less than one year when Iraq is back in dire straights if Obama pulls our troops out. (Iraq is a land of OIL and Obama wants it just like Bush does, because America needs it. The president doesn't pass laws, congress does. He cannot make significant decisions on anything to do with the economy, the GNP, AIDS research, or when life starts. Obama can fund some needed social programs that Bush gutted, however, that is about it, of course here is where most people think "hope" is. That Obama will be standing on the street corner handing out fortunes. Those who think the government is for handouts need to re-consider why they life here. The President gives the state of the Union address, whoopie. If the military is gutted again, then Al Qaeda will grow again and we will see more of 911 on American soil. Obama might fight for severe gun control especially with a democrat congress. Sever control or outright banning gun ownership will set up a huge black market. Did they not learn from prohibition? If you take guns away from law-abiding citizens they you have an armed criminal element who calls the shots and created a huge black market in guns. This will set up more crime than America has ever seen. Also, something distasteful that I predict will happen. Say Obama gets elected, and the KKK has vowed to kill him. and if that happens, it may not be safe to walk the streets at night. Does anyone fear race riots if Obama is assassinated?

Someone said that Obama understands how other people in the world think of us. He once said that he doesn't wear the American flag pin because to many in the world it is a symbol of terrorism. Wow. this scares me more than Hillary Clinton. Who cares what other people in other countries think about us when we gladly give billions of dollars to them. From what our military does it really upsets me that anyone can call them terrorists. I guess if you listen to our media you might get that impression. Did you know we are doing great things in Iraq but is it covered by our media? NO. What happen to American pride? Even when the chips are down, you don't put our own family down publicly. Well, you guys voted him if office and you get what you pay for is all I have to say. Why is it that our media does not cover Osama bin Laden or other dictators and militant tribesmen of other countries? Instead, making up stories and calling Americans terrorists sells. Makes me sick.
