What Palin has allowed to be said about Obama ("terrorist" "Kill him") at her rallies incites violence. While she may not be saying it directly, she is whipping the crowd into the frenzy by using traditional scare tactics to cause derision.
Inciting violence is not protected under the 1st amendment.
And since when did the media become part of the government?

Yeah, someone might want to refresh her on exactly what her 1st Amendment rights are.

You just reinforced the reason I posted this news clip (even though you voted it down).
It's absolutely ridiculous for Palin to claim the media is interfering with her first amendment right.

Just a quick reminder, guys... CENSORSHIP is when THE GOVERNMENT uses its power to silence expression or communication.
The media, for all that can be said of it, CANNOT engage in censorship because they are not part of the government.
Governor Sarah Palin, on the other hand, CAN engage in censorship because she is a member of government.
Rebuttal is NOT CENSORSHIP. Rebutting an issue in a way that makes the person look like a dumbass is NOT CENSORSHIP. In fact, rebutting an issue and pointing out that the person who made the initial comment looks like a dumbass is one of the hallmarks OF free speech!
Here endeth the lesson.

The Press can infringe on it's own freedoms though - and that is arguably illegal. If they present, on a consistent basis, skewed versions of her message they are not presenting the truth. In that sense they are infringing on the freedom of the press themselves while also arguably infringing on her right to free speech.
They must present the truth.
The same logic applies to suicide. Suicide is illegal, you can't infringe on your own right to life. I'm obviously taking this to the extreme, but it's something to think about. - 1 year ago

She's not dumb. She's actually very crafty. She's playing the "helpless victim" card.
"OH PITY ME PITY ME I'm being mercilessly censored by the liberal media! Those big bullies won't let me speak my mind!"
