Council on Foreign Relations president predicts coups, genocide and terrorism to test Obama

This may very well be an attempt by the Right to make Obama look bad, coming out of the gate... but I believe that he will already be prepared for the worst that they can throw at him, since he is already working hard to assimilate the role way before anyone expected him to do so...also, he will be surrounded by some of the most brilliant individuals that could possibly occupy his cabinet, so he may surprise a lot of people early on, in his new post as commander in chief...

The question that needs to be asked is, "Who will really be doing the 'testing'?"

Pardon my suspicion but the puppetmasters will be doing the real testing. Obama appears to be an unknown quantity. If he "falls into line" fine. If not he'll have no time to implement anything because of ongoing crises. Only time will tell.

Agreed here. Someone who they can't control who actually works for the masses rather than the elite. They must hurry to fabricate a crisis and chaos. Anyone older than 20 has already seen people around them create chaos in order to come out on top.... it's been their modus operandi since the 1700's.

Also, CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) is mysteriously connected to many of the "bodies of power" that control our world as well (of course). Federal Reserve, International Banking Corporations, those who write the history books... I wish some worthwhile journalists would start digging into the connections.

Does this mean that Obama will give his inaguration speech from an undisclosed location as a hologram?

A last opportunity for Bush Admin to instill fear into Americans that were unsure about Dem Majority...

There are too many secret governments to keep track of. I wonder who will provoke these crises? I also wonder just why the CFR is finally being so kind as to warn us? Hmmmmm....

Joe Biden is a member of the CFR and Obama and his wife are definitely CFR insiders, if not members themselves.

I used to sort of believe some of these conspiracy theories until I met a lot more politicians, particularly volunteering for the Obama Campaign.

A lot of Senators, and people in power genuinely care about the American people as they are surrounded by them. They probably do not say anything about some of the secret power cabals because they work within the system for the better.

At the same time I asked one noted foreign jouranlist is it true international bankers try to control the world, and to my surprise he stated "They try." without blinking an eye. He said events are often outside their control though. This guy is a high up journalist that has interviewed Presidents and all.

I believe that there are some international bankers that try to control the world, but there are too many varied interests for there to be a unified conspiracy theory. Arabs are very concerned and have their own people, religion in mind. Russia has their own interests in mind. China's leaders seem maybe but unlikely to go along with any "world conspiracy".

I really think that though there are some powerful groups that try to manipulate events, there is not one single powerful one but multiple groups in different regions of the world.

It could happen depending on what the domestic terrorist want to do (Current Administration and whites who don't want a N word President)

One would certainly have to question the effectiveness of the security forces if anything were to happen to the president elect.

Let's hope they won't be running another exercise. We've already seen that they can't practice their profession and actively perform it at the same time.

So no one finds it interesting that Biden not only predicts a crisis but also predicts that we aren't going to like Obama's response one little bit? This doesn't sound like the right wing to me .... this sounds like "plan a crisis so we can implement something big without a whole lot of questions". C'mon think about it. Predict a crisis? The only people predicting a crisis voted for Obama! Biden, Powell, and Brzezezinski.

Prepared for the worst? He isn't prepared for Jack you know what. Show me what the man has presented to congress to solve any problems. Not a damn thing, that is what. Voting "present" time and again, much less not presenting any bills before congress is not offering solutions on anything.

This is a dyed in the wool heavy handed Jack Booted thug, racists, anti American, anti Christian to not only ever run for President but to succeed in being elected. George Bush will go down in history as the worst president in history, however his legacy will only last for four years.

I could care less what party. gender, or skin color our President is, I only think that in a country of over 300 million, we could do so much better.

Anticipating that I will be called a racist for speaking as I have, I would like to state that there are numerous blacks that would make "great". not good, or adequate, but "great presidents.

One of the downsides to living as many years as I have is to witness the finalization of the dumbing down of America. It is now finished, mission accomplished by those whose goal this has been. My congratulation to their patience to achieve this, sad as it may be.

My son, and future generations are doomed, but there may come a day when the next revolution takes us back to the ideals of our founding fathers, the most courageous and brilliant men in the history of our once great country.
